During this tour we'll discover the finest palaces and the way of life of the mighty old Milanese aristocracy

Mansions adorned with precious old paintings, refined pieces of furniture which reveal either the owners’ extremely sophisticated taste or their eccentric and amused attitude.

We'll start by exploring the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, the bachelor house of a Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli, a young Milanese gentleman who dedicated his youth and maturity to collecting armour, paintings and precious objects and turned his own apartments into a museum housing one of the finest private art collections in the world.

Afterwards, we'll walk through the Fashion District where the most stylish and refined designer shops are, and where new trends and fashions are created. Eventually we'll reach the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, the mansion of an extravagant and sophisticated dynasty who were so fond of the Renaissance life-style that they designed, arranged, furnished and decorated their building with original pieces from the 15th and 16th century.

Experts were commissioned to ransack the antique market to provide the rooms with artworks of every kind, books, armour as well as beds, desks, cupboards, dishes, flatware, children's toys, combs and whatever was necessary for switching on the time machine and living like their ancestors.
